We found that opportunity through Dan Hanneken (who is also a member of our group) and in2Action. We receive a continually updated list of the birthdays of each resident at in2Action. As the birthday approaches, one of our ladies is assigned to that resident to call and ask what type of birthday cake he would like and also when would be a good time to deliver it.<\/p>\n<p>Little did we know what a blessing it would turn out to be for each of us, as well as the &#8220;birthday boys!\u201d The smiles and thank you\u2019s we receive are very special, as well as getting to interact with the residents in a personal way.
